This past December 27th my parents furnance stopped working correctly. After checking the normal simple fixes we decided to call a service tech. We knew the chances were slim for that day since the holiday weekend was so cold. As soon as I gave the lady who answered the call my name and my parents address she immediately recognized that we had an issue almost 1 year to the date.. She also knew my parents were alittle older and seemed very concerned that the heat was not working at all.. She told me she would call a tech soon as possible and he would be calling me.. We were very surprised that within 15 minutes the tech had called and was on his way. The tech arrived and did all he could do but we recognized that it was time for a new unit. Jerry Ferrara arrived the next morning right on time and was very professional. He took the time to inspect the current equipment and then asked questions on what our preferences were. He then excused himself and stated he would need a few minutes to create a estimate and would be right back. Jerry returned with two estimates he had created. He gave my parents two options and gave a very detailed explaination of what he recommended and why.. My parents went with Jerry's recommendation and even though the total money was unexpected Jerry made the hole situation alot easier to deal with.. I have been a retail manager for 24 years and Jerry's customer serviced level was exceptional... I highly recommend him and will suggest him to any future needs of anyone I know.. The service was set up for a few days later and I unfortunately could not be there due to work.. The technicians called that morning and were right on time.. I arrived that evening to check on my parents and both of them had nothing but good things to say.. They were amazed that a few other techs stopped by to help and all of them were very professional and courteous... The job was to take two days and they finished right on time. I stopped again that evening and I was quite happy with the results. The installation was alot neater than the previous unit that had been in the house. Jerry and the technicians made this experience alot easier to deal with and I thank them for that. My father has always been one to do all his own maintaince and repairs and now that he is up in age he just cant do it. For him to be happy with someones work speaks alot.
